My body de pain me;

My pocket de leak;

Must one like soap which diminishes because he wants to make one clean, be impoverished because he wants to serve his people?

My body de pain me;

My pocket de leak;

Daily people walk up to me to make financial demands they cannot make of Dangote;

Honorable Money for malaria drugs;

Honorable My children have not eaten;

Honorable My house rent has expired;

Honorable My dead wife, mother, grandfather, will be buried;

Honorable My car knocked engine.

My sin? I printed poster;

I joined a political party;

I offered to serve.

My body de pain me;

My pocket de leak;

Nobody asks if I am an armed robber;

a kidnapper;

a Yahoo boy;

All they want is a pound of flesh;

All they want is to be fed off my campaign money.

My body de pain me;

My pocket de leak;

Those without PVC;

Of no electoral value extort the most;

Refuse to be blackmailed, they run you down with their mouth full of cheap Palm wine at the market square.

My body de pain me;

My pocket de leak;

Political parties mere business centers;

Worse than naira bet or bet9ija

All asking and giving nothing but logo for the Aspirant to slog it out.

My body de pain me;

My pocket de leak;

But I am limping strong;

I am crying in the rain to run to the finishing line;

My body de pain me;

My pocket leaks more than a basket full of water.
